Seminar on Sikh Minority - Guidance and Solutions

This program was organized by  Sikh Heritage Group - Aurangabad , at Gurudwara Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Langar Sahib, Aurangabad. The Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, established in 2006 is the highest authority for development programmes for the minority religious communities in India. The minority communities include Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, Zoroastrians(Parsis) and Jains.

However, most of us are not aware of the benefits that we can avail being part of the minority community. In order to create awareness among the sikh sangat about the various educational schemes and scholarships that are offered under the minority commission, this initiative was taken by Sikh Heritage Group to invite S.Surjeet Singh Khungar, Ex. Member of Maharashtra State Minority Commission to share his knowledge with the sadh sangat of Aurangabad.

Minority certificates for our sikh brothers and sisters are also being issued as part of this initiative.

We hope to spread the word through our website as well. For any further information in this regard, please feel free to write to us.
